Allamakee County Assessor-Office Manager  The Allamakee County Assessor is accepting applications and resumes for the position of Office Mananger. 

JOB SUMMARY:  Responsible for customer service, credits and exemptions applications, transfers of property, sales data entry, claims and general office tasks.  Performs other duties needed as designated by the Assessor.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:  High school diploma or GED equivalent.  Ability to read legal descritions, knowledge of Microsoft Office & Excel, Adobe Acrobat Pro.  Must have a valid Iowa Driver's license.

ALLAMAKEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE HIRING E911

DISPATCHER/CORRECTIONS OFFICER

 

The Allamakee County Sheriff’s Office is seeking applications for a full-time Dispatcher/Correctional Officer.  This position will involve cross training in dispatching and corrections. Duties include interpreting, prioritizing and dispatching sheriff’s deputies, city police, fire departments, ambulances to emergency and non-emergency calls throughout the county.  Other duties include care, safety and security of prisoners confined in the county jail.  Employees will be required to work nights, weekends and holidays. Shift differential and earned time off or holiday pay apply.

 

The E911 Dispatcher/Corrections Officer shall have the ability to speak clearly and act effectively in emergency situations and interact in a courteous and professional manner with staff, inmates and the general public.
