Allamakee County is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Victim-Witness Coordinator position at the Allamakee County Attorney’s Office. Under the direction and supervision of the Allamakee County Attorney, the Victim-Witness Coordinator will provide assistance to crime victims and witnesses to crimes under the terms of a grant application. Key roles of the position will include providing victims with basic information regarding the status of their case, registering victims for notification purposes, assisting victims with the completion of victim impact statements and restitution forms, and making referrals to community services. Qualified applicants will have a bachelor’s degree in social work, sociology, psychology, criminal justice or a related field. Previous experience in victim’s services, social work, law enforcement or case management is preferred.
